January 2024 Diploma Exam Information

A reminder for students that are registered to write their diploma exams in January. 

• The deadline for handing in all module/unit assignments is Monday, January 15th, 2024. 
• The deadline for handing in all module/unit tests and final assessments is Thursday, January 18th, 2024.

Please refer to the diploma exam schedule attached to this post for your scheduled writing date and time.

January 2024 Diploma Exam Schedule

Diploma exams are held at the Morinville Learning Centre for full-time Learning Centre students. The address is below:

If you attend SCHS or Redwater School, you will be writing your diploma exam at your home school. If you are not sure, please talk with a counsellor or administrator at your home school to confirm your writing location. 

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start time and bring a piece of photo ID along with an approved calculator. You can find more information about calculator rules in the Calculator Information and Rules document which is attached to this post.

2023 2024 Calculator Information For Diploma Exams

For students who are rewriting diploma exam(s), you have to register yourself for your specific diploma exam(s) through MyPass.

Note that for the 2023-2024 school year, your school-awarded mark is worth 70% and your diploma mark is worth 30% of your overall grade.  

If you have any questions, please contact your teacher. If you feel that you will not be able to meet the January deadline, you need to contact your teacher as soon as possible to discuss a plan for moving forward.
